Our Club held our first annual member Potluck Dinner at the Clark Centre for the Arts on the grounds of the Guild Inn. Members from Kiwanis Club of East York, Riverdale and Casa Loma joined this first annual celebration. The array of food was both delicious and amazing!

As part of the evening, a cheque for $250 was presented to Lori Beesley who is the Volunteer and Student Placement Coordinator for the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC).
Riverdale received $500 from KI for sponsoring the Kiwanis Club of Scarborough and agreed to donate the money to a charity chosen by Kiwanis Club of Scarborough. Our club chose to split the money between the SCHC Food Bank and the East Scarborough Boys and Girls Club.
In addition to the $250 donation, our club collected donations of sanitary products from the Annual Potluck participants and these were given to Lori for the #PinkDrive and also gave the leftover potluck food to the SCHC Food Bank.
